Iran is ready to reinitiate atomic negotiations with the United States on condition that it is handled with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

Abbas Araghchi declared only diplomacy produced results, and disclosed new appeals had come from mediators to restart discussions with the American leadership. He claimed Iran had zero undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran was not yet able to permit the UN nuclear inspectorate to inspect struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Walking a Difficult Path

The foreign minister is navigating a complex route since Iran aims to avoid be perceived to be proceeding from a situation of disadvantage, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had come out stronger militarily and emotionally from the joint assault on its enrichment centers in June.

He added: "We successfully passed this conflict. Our enrichment knowledge, which they intended to obliterate, stays intact. The citizens of Tehran have grown more resilient, more united, and more supportive of the administration and the country in the wake of this assault."
